'A Quiet Place: Day One'

The first two parts follow the Abbott family, played by Krasinski, Blunt, Simmonds, Jupe, and additional cast members like Oppenheimer and Djimon Hounsou, who appears in the new trailer alongside Nyong'o. These two films are some of the best-made horror action picks that I have seen, and the work that John Krasinski has put into them is impeccable. It is really hard to maintain quality and expand a universe, but he was able to manage it with the second part. He delivered two chapters of an incredible story that together brought in around 600 million at the Box Office. To imagine a story like this one and recreate it in a motion picture with such success is not an easy task. Many sequels fall short of the previous chapters and destroy interest in a next movie.

Here, on the other hand, I'm so excited about the continuation, even if it's not directed by Krasinski. If I had to guess, he chose to switch places with Michael Sarnoski for the director's chair in order to inject fresh creative juices into the story, and from the first trailer that came out today, we can see that he was able to do it incredibly well. Lupita Nyong'o looks amazing in this glimpse of the first day, but here we see what happened in, I guess, New York or some other big city. There are shots in this trailer that look like they could be from an incredible video game. I'll play it.

And Lupita is walking around the alien apocalypse with her cat and Joseph Quinn, who played Eddie in 'Stranger Things'. This may be the last cat, and this species may be going extinct. I love that Alex Wolff is also joining the cast; many know him from 'Hereditary', where he played the son of Toni Collette's character, Annie. Every shot in this trailer just looks incredible and has even more horror vibes than the other chapters. The last movie that brought me back to the cinema was 'Poor Things', and I'm definitely going to see this one in the movie theater. Just look how cool those shots are. This looks fantastic.

I'm sad to learn that the next chapter for the Abbott family is postponed, but take a look at these shots from the prequel poster that comes out in June.
